Edwin Valero is the man at 135. I would compare his style to Manny Pacquiao before he hooked up with Freddie. Pacquiao basically faught the same way until Freddie polished him up.

Valero has a damn good trainer, highly regarded trainer but he needs some help on the defensive side. Unless he has a steel chin but I never seen him get bopped on the chin much.

That's because heis competition is very weak.. when he did fight a decent fighter in mosquera he got dropped.. Guzman, soto, Linares would expose him.. im not sure on juan diaz because he's too feather fisted..

Possibly the sloppiest fight I've ever seen.
Dude.. This is some awful **** right here. Anyone throws a hard strike up the middle and he's toast. He loads up on those body hayemakers like Happy Gilmore tees off.. Not many guys take a galluping step as they load. If he lands on your chin your dead but generally speaking an elite level pro should have no trouble anticipating him all night.(or as long as Valero lasts.)

Linares will never fight him, he is a featherweight. Also, they are on the same team(teiken), train at the same gym(teiken), have the same exact coach(sendai tanaka), and have the same management team(teiken). I wouldn't be surprised if they were best friends.

That was a flash knock down, and he still won by KO. If Soto-Valero comes through, you will change your mind. Soto will get KO'd and you opinion will change.

          Flash knockdown?

LOL,he was getting hit repeatedly with right hands till he went down.I wouldn't say he was really hurt but he wa buzzed. No flash KD.

And the ref gave him al the time he needed after.

Well that's what happened.I actually thought he was gonna get smoked but he came back good.

I like him too but he is way overrated for what he has done.

Damn. You just watched it, huh? I don't think "Straight up awful ****" even covers it. :laff2: Even Froch makes more of an effort to defend (occasionally) than he does.
