If everything was based on ability and talent,

    Mayorga never beats Forrest,
    Douglas never beats Tyson,
    Spinks never beats Ali,
    Hatton never beats Tzsyu,
    Baldomir never beats Judah.

    Gladly,

    boxing fans go by results.

Floyd has been out of the ring since 2007.

Why should he be rated again?

Yeah to be fair your right with the whole talent thing i didn't mean it exactly like that though.

Alls im saying is P4P, Floyd is better than the majority of that top ten list, in fact all of them. When he fights and beats Marquez, what they going to say then? Oh he's only fought once he don't deserve to be in it despite the fact Cotto jumped 2 or 3 places just for beating Michael Jennings? Double standards all the time

        Double standard?

        Jennings is a ww,

JMM has never fought above 140. When he fought at 135, he went tooth and nail, both times.

Get Floyd in the ring with actual welters and let him state his case there.

Until then, bringing fighters up two divisions isn't impressive.

Cotto fought Mosley, Margarito and the Clottey of his division which Floyd never will ever fight any threat in his division. Beating Marquez will just make Floyd look bad and will do nothing on his career..

What are you talking about mate , JMM weighed 143 stepping into the ring last 2 fights , Floyd weighed 147 stepping into Oscar , untill then mentioning 2 divisions is smoke screen to the true fighting weight of these guys , in either division when they rehydrate its to the same weight across both divisions , what does that tell you ?

You want to claim weight at least talk about the weight they actually fight at as the weigh-in is manipulated water weight 30 hrs before they actually fight , the real weight on the night has JMM and Floyd only a few pounds apart thats Truth , get Floyd in the ring with actual Welters as you say , and have Floyd give them better than 10 pounds on the night but thats fair by your reasoning , lets look at it from a different angle to your scenaro and put Floyd in a fair fight at pound for pound give or take 7 lb , ,,,

now name somebody who is within 7lb thats 140 to 154 fight night weight who can beat Floyd , for mine Manny Pac is the only one with a good shot , the others being the top WWs with a chance have that chance only because of the size difference on fight night .

Floyd claims that he is sharp up stairs, is this why he stutters? Is this why he can't put more than two sentences together to get his point across?
Juan Manuel Marquez has been in wars and if you ever heard Juan speak, you would never, in a million years think he was a fighter who has been in a war. The man speaks as fluent as any scholar and is sharp as a tac.

Floyd, you were never and I do mean never! number one on my p4p list. BTW son, it's not about the color of your skin, stop being such an "ignant" fool like your uncle. Ignant was the word used by the woman that Roger was caught beating up in the aparment the other day. lol lol lol

Floyd is not a defensive fighter, he is a sissy fighter and a fraud.
so what he stutters, what does that have to do with how he performs in the ring...i guarantee you you'd kiss his stuttering ass of you ever seen him and got the chance to talk to him...you wouldn't say he stutters to his face, and i think you know that...you're so ****ing retarted that you worry how he talks when he is talking about how sharp his mind is in the ring, jackass...many people stutter, so what? in that ring, he is as sharp as they come, if not sharper...so you little school boy, need not worry about how he talks, he will beat your favorite fighter's ass in that ring, think abot that...

this interview was awesome, floyd told it like it is, one of his best interviews ever...

this has been obvious since he was at 130 though---all of the people talking about him and coloring books and pop up books wouldn't dare say anything like that to him face to face so their opinions are irrelavant...they didn't break down the interview like true fans of the sport should, that rather reverted back to insulting his name, but none of that **** matters when he kicks the **** out of their favortie fighters--shane, cotto, and pac....i like jmm to add him in there, but he's getting it too unfortunately...this interview was great---finally no bashing---they love to bash him---but they have to admit he is the truth in that ring...where it truly counts...
