I have a bad feeling that Cotto-Pacquiao will not happen

Cotto says he will not defend his belt unless the fight is at 147 and Pac will not fight unless it is at 145 and probably will not be interested if a belt is not on the line. Cotto also says he will not pay his sactioning fee if the fight is below 147, which means they would strip him which could screw the fight up right there. I remember Hatton-Pacquiao almost fell through because of bad negotiations and I fear that is what this may be coming too. Hopefully not but it does not look good.

The fight will happen as planned because I'm seeing Cotto accepting all of Pacquiao's desires.

Eventually, Cotto will come to his senses that $15M is a lot of dough.

          The fight getting cancelled...?

          But isn't the fight official?

I don't get it. Did the fighters sign the contract without stipulating what the weight and belts would be present?

I remember at the start of this whole fiasco many posters saying that Cotto's belt should be on the line, now it's a whole different story...

Props to Cotto for sticking to his guns. Like I've always thought, they want Cotto to put his belt on the line below the limit just to make Pacquiao's legacy bigger...

If he wants that belt, allow the 147 pound weight limit...

yeah the fight has been made official, but I think it can still be cancelled because of bad negotations.

I'm getting tired of Roach and Pac. You cant have it both ways.. You want the man to drop down to 145 lbs to fight you fine he did, Now you want him to put his belt on the line for your legacy? He won the title at the 147lb limit NOT 145lb limit. If you want a shot at his belt you have to fight at 147lbs. Fair is Fair.
