Román González: The next Floyd Mayweather?

    Román González

    "El Chocolatito"

WBA Minimum Weight Champion of the World

    June 17, 1987

    23-0 (20 by KO).

González won his second title defense on July 14, 2009 by unanimous decision over Katsunari Takayama

Ive saw a few of his fights and man is this guy fast, and for a small dude he has great knockout power. Does this dude have potential you think?

Minimum weight champion? You think this guy is going to move up to 135 and collect 5 titles along the way?

    Hmm... to each, their own.

This guy's the goods. I'm not sure how far he could move up, but wherever he goes he's gonna be a tough guy to beat. Through 115 the only guy I can see beating him is Donaire.

He's way too short to make it at Lightweight.

I seen him fight he has power, no deffense, no comparison. He's huge for his weight class once he steps up against real comp we'll see

You could make the case that he should be on the bottom part or at least close to the P4P list. He has won his fights impressively against whoever they put in front of him.
