If he was banned for 2 years he should absolutely be banned for 2 years. I feel that 2 years is a light sentence for what he did.
Ultimately I would like to see him come back and try to redeem himself, but first he has to serve his time, act like he is sorry, and earn back the trust of the community. If he can do that, welcome back, if he is going to try and cut that time short then I feel like he doesn't see anything wrong in what he did and shouldn't be allowed back.Comment

Flaps, I love my Signature but it looks like your gf took extra special care of you! That Kitten has power in both hands. I still think Zelenoff would drop the feline with a right hook to the midsection.. knock his whiskers off. Back to the subject though, Margarito shouldn't be taking the stance that denial means he's absolved. Admission/remorse is his only route. If he was banned for 2 years he should absolutely be banned for 2 years. I feel that 2 years is a light sentence for what he did.

It's true. She hooked it up. I like that the cat is apparently a southpaw, which might give Charlie trouble. Plus he never stops punching which Zelenoff hates.Flaps, I love my Signature but it looks like your gf took extra special care of you! That Kitten has power in both hands. On topic: I agree. If Margs can't show remorse and accept his punishment then he has no right stepping back in the ring. If he accepts what happened and graciously serves the (light) sentence then there's no reason he shouldn't be welcomed back.Comment

There's so much money to be made through Margarito, one has to assume he'll be reinstated immediately. However, I wouldn't be all that shocked if the comission decided to keep him suspended for a short while longer.. Everyone should see this excerpt from Dan Rafael's blog. Although I don't always hold Rafael in the highest regard, I agree completely with him in this situation:It's true. She hooked it up. I like that the cat is apparently a southpaw, which might give Charlie trouble. Plus he never stops punching which Zelenoff hates.

"If Margarito truly didn't know that Capetillo had loaded his hand wraps, as he claims, wouldn't he be angry at Capetillo? Don't you think he'd be keeping his distance? Don't you think he would have dumped him by now for trying to cheat, causing his license to be revoked and severely damaging his career?
Instead, Margarito is still with Capetillo, making it even more difficult to believe his story that he didn't know what the trainer was doing. If I'm on the California commission and responsible for deciding whether Margarito gets his license back, the scene of him being so chummy with Capetillo certainly disappoints me, erodes any shred of credibility his story has and makes it difficult for me to vote in favor of relicensing him. By hanging around with Capetillo, Margarito is sending the wrong message to California regulators, as well as many of the folks who would like to give him the benefit of the doubt but find it almost impossible."Comment
