Cotto Taking No Chances, Starts Training For Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao won't be able to use his speed to avoid Cotto
for the whole 12 RDS. If Cotto lay gloves on Manny I think it
could get hairy for Pac BUT if Cotto can't figure out Manny's
style then it's possible that Manny can out box him for the
course of the fight but I don't see Manny being able to over
whelm a prime Cotto with his speed. Cotto will have to be
more defensive than usual and not take so much leather
to land leather. He is going to have to be on his best
technical game.

We don't have to agree all the time on every topic but it always
comes down to seeing certain things eye to eye like how I agree
with you about Cotto bringing someone on board like Emmanuel
to give Cotto a more strategic out look on his opponent because
training hard will not be enough. Cotto should be able to beat
Manny Pacquiao but if he loses to Pac then I would say Cotto
needs to take a lil break and restructure his whole camp and
outlook on his career. Not saying that a loss to Pac will be a
bad thing to happen to him because Manny is a very good fighter
but Cotto is younger, bigger and has fought some huge guys
and should be able to take Pac out IF Cotto can keep up with
Manny's pace in the ring. Cotto has to think about winning
and not just fighting whoever his promoter tells him to fight.
Being a true champ is about making adjustments in and outside
the ring. Hopefully Cotto can pull off the win because Roach is
not giving him much of a chance and he should want to make
Freddie eat crow.

Cotto is just training 3 days a week, doing floor excercises and runnig to stay in shape.

Theres a rumor Ill confirme later, that when he moves his camp in september to florida manny Steward will take over camp. Joe will still be head trainer but Emmanuel will be doing the whole strategic plan and stuff!!!!!!!
