    i'm not trying to label nate's whole career as a quitter. i'm just saying he quit in that particular fight in the most respectable way because i would have quit myself. pbf, gatti, abraham, collins all had injuries in the ring and they stayed til the very end. compared to them, nate is a quitter (no offense).

      This is correct.

      He quit. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, but he still quit 100%. That point cannot be argued. If people want to attach negative connotations to the word "quit" regardless of the circumstances then that is up to them.

        One thing about fighting on with a broken hand, or a torn bicep muscle (Clottey vs Judah) is that there is no real danger of things getting any worse. A bone or muscle will heal, but loss of vision can be permanent. Big difference.

          You make a very good point. To say a man is a quitter because he chose to quit is ignorant. He quit, but with very good reason. That by no means, makes Nate a quitter.
