They just passed a new law here in Nevada where stragalation became much more serious crime, unless he gets lucky I see him getting put in jail for awhile.

Nevada becomes one of a dozen states to adopt a law aimed specifically at strangulation. Before now, it might have only been considered a misdemeanor assault, so what was six months in jail could now mean 10 years in prison.
