If Filipino boxers will be given chance to showcase their skills, we can even set up more cards like this... Let Philippines and Puerto Rico battle, and on a separate set of cards will be Mexico vs USA...

Then the winner will battle it out in a world cup...

    I predict Philippines vs USA...

Boxing is the last avenue for a desperate Filipino looking for a way out of poverty....You're right Philippines is not a boxing power house but it only takes 1 Filipino to beat all of your boxing champions in the lower weight division...

Why dont u brush up on your boxing history??

There's been a filipino great in every generation of boxing going all the way back to the 1920s way before mexico ever became the power house they are today.

There's 5 current filipino world champions. with 3 major prospects slated for world title matches this year. There's plenty in the making.

Philippines isn't a powerhouse in boxing yet. There are lot of prospects and hopefuls.

The one good sign is definitely having two Pinoys in EA Sports' Fight Night 4: Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire.

Nonito is really good, I really like him, but I don't think he could beat someone like Hasegawa who's 118 and more realistic to him than Juanma.

name them. im not mexican or puerto rican so dont say i am a hater. i am nicargauan and we have had great boxers our best being Alexis Arguello arguably the best jr lightweight of all time. but there is no way that philipine boxers come close to the number of champions or dominance when it comes to boxing as the mexicans and puerto ricans. its not even close. true story...
