Jones by uninamous decision. Too fast for lewis, who by this time wasn't taking training as seriously and really starting to fade. I dont think for a second a prime lewis would have had much that trouble with vitali. Lewis relised this and retired. Denying Jones a career defing fight. Jones should never have gone up to heavyweight, thats the reason he got knocked out in future fights. The weight gain and rush to lose it cost his abilities dearly. He really beat up ruiz, albeit in a defensive fight. Lewis wouldn't be able to corner him, he was only ever good standing toe to toe and trading. Or setting up traps for opponents coming in.

Surely it would only be a matter of time that Lewis lands a decent punch. One punch would probably knock Jones out cold.

See what Tarver and Johnson did? Multiply that by about 5 times. Jones might be able to move around a bit on Lewis in the early rounds but the jab would've gotten to him eventually and once Lewis found the range for the jab it's a matter of time before the right hands comes behind it. And Jones would be very cautious about his in and out movement because of Lewis' uppercut, Lewis had a great uppercut.

Jones would have a chance to run all night and score some points but Lewis probably would win.

Seriously what has either Klitschko got to do with Roy Jones Jr?
I have asked this many times, what do you want them to do?
Dig up dead legends? Go back in time and fight legends?
Roy could have fought about 8 TOP fighters yet avoided them all,What fighters have the Klitschkos avoided?
As soon as he stepped up with in class he got KTFO.

                  The facts
At MW: Roy won a vacant strap against Bernard Hopkins. Made a couple of defences against nobodys then moved up when G-Man was a clear #1 contender to him. Ducked G-man who went on to get brain damaged by the dark destroyer Nigel Benn.

At SMW: Fought a dead at the weight James Toney who had to lose 50lbs in 6 weeks to make the fight (Liles was the linear champ at the time) and won. Fought cops, postmen and garbage collectors instead of fighting Eubank, Benn and Liles.

At LHW: Won a vacant title against Griffin (at the second time of asking) then went on to duck Dariuz M(Undefeated world champion for 9 years) for a whole 5 years.

At HW: Fought Ruiz who wasn't even top 3 for a Don King manufactured strap, Got called out by Lewis then ran away back to 175.

The first time Roy fought a #1 contender was Antonio Tarver after moving down from HW.

Then hillariously went on to get KTFO Twice

He even ducked Steve Collins who called him out in the press and embarrassed him by basically calling him a ***** for a long time.

I see it being a better fight than a lot of people are giving it credit to be. Honestly, if we are talking "Prime" here, I see Jones losing by SD/UD, but ultimately it being a flashy, quick, intelligent fight.

Every boxing fan knows Roy Jones Jr,Its a shame very few know most of the bums he fought.

Roy Jones Jr never beat a linear champ or defended against a #1 contender on his run. What a utter SHAM!!!!!!
