I think Cotto has to respect the speed more than the power, Pacquaio at the higher weight classes is more of a speed puncher than a one punch knockout artist type puncher. For some reason a lot of fighters that he gets in the ring with even now are surprised at how fast he is, they don't seem to expect it.

Paulie Malignaggi is more of a speed puncher vice a one punch KO artist. Manny Pacquiao above 140 is .500 with one punch KOs and he did it against the 140lbs kingpin. I don't really care about the stats honestly, he's 2-0 at 140 or higher with 2 TKOs, 1 clean knockout. Don't compare Malignaggi's type of power to Pacquiao, Pacquiao's is much more explosive with his speed whereas Malignaggi has quick hands but has no snap or explosiveness on his punches at all.

Hatton's chin isn't the best, his punch resistance has gradually gone downhill, I mean he got hurt by Juan Lazcano, a career lightweight.

And the punches that Hatton got hit with, he didn't see coming which is why I said Cotto has to respect the speed of Pacquiao more than the power, not to say he doesn't have to respect the power but with Pacquiao speed kills. Speed equals power for Pacquiao at the higher weights. The punches you don't see hurt the most.

Manny is technically and virtually exactly the same size as Cotto. So technically, they're both little men. Weight wise, Cotto seems to be the naturally heavier or "bigger" man. Cotto is not the one to take any of his opponent for granted and he's not ****y about it either.
