If Miguel Doesn't Respect Manny's Power...

I think Cotto has to respect the speed more than the power, Pacquaio at the higher weight classes is more of a speed puncher than a one punch knockout artist type puncher. For some reason a lot of fighters that he gets in the ring with even now are surprised at how fast he is, they don't seem to expect it.
Manny has got the right natural, physical characteristics to carry his power as he move up in weight: large hands for his size, very prominent knuckles, huge calves, fast twitch muscles. Manny's bringing more power and the same speed and pace he brought as a featherweight. Oscar and Ricky had no idea what to do with him. I'm telling you all, if Cotto comes in trying to bully the little guy, he's gonna get lit up.Comment

Paulie Malignaggi is more of a speed puncher vice a one punch KO artist. Manny Pacquiao above 140 is .500 with one punch KOs and he did it against the 140lbs kingpin. You all can say what you want about Ricky's chin and Ricky being a shell of his former self, but nobody was saying that prior to the One Hitter Quitter that Manny planted on his chin.

Hatton's chin isn't the best, his punch resistance has gradually gone downhill, I mean he got hurt by Juan Lazcano, a career lightweight.
And the punches that Hatton got hit with, he didn't see coming which is why I said Cotto has to respect the speed of Pacquiao more than the power, not to say he doesn't have to respect the power but with Pacquiao speed kills. Speed equals power for Pacquiao at the higher weights. The punches you don't see hurt the most.Last edited by Silencers; 08-03-2009, 11:46 PM.Comment

He would eventually get him only the thing Hatton could very well have been knocked out by a body shot.Comment

Manny is technically and virtually exactly the same size as Cotto. So technically, they're both little men. Weight wise, Cotto seems to be the naturally heavier or "bigger" man. Cotto is not the one to take any of his opponent for granted and he's not ****y about it either.
thread should had ended right here!!!!!!Comment

has to respect the power of Manny Pacquiao.
His power is what KTFO Hatton.
His power is what busted up Oscar like he's never been busted up and forced him to quit.
Cotto's whiskers have been suspect throughout his career.
Puas, why are you such a ******* bro?
The Pinoys paying you under the table or what?Comment
