Why does Barrera and Morales avoids Marquez? I think Marquez is not only the chicken in the hen house?

Add Hamed to the brood. He avoided JMM like the plague for 2 years! And JMM was his #1 contender at the time!

About why is or was JMM being avoided by the top feathers (with the notable exception of Pac), for the life of me I can't really think of a good reason. Why indeed? Beats me!

High risk, low reward analysis. Pure and simple.

I thought Marquez priced himself out of a rematch with Pacman?

THAT is a very good point!!

But I was of the opinion that so-called Mexican machoism should make MAB & Morales aspire more for fame and glory, and therefore take whatever risk, and think less about low rewards. Oh, sorry. JMM himself proved this otherwise!

This thread actually raises a good point.

MAB & Morales have never even come close to facing Marquez, & that is a mark against them.

Morancito.....We are fans, we don't excuse fighters for not taking fights because it's the "smart" thing to do.
Let their family members & people on their payroll worry about their BUSINESS decisions. We want the best to face the best....& if they don't, they must be questioned.
