Cotto seems to the popular pick on this forum. IMO, boxing is about speed and technique. Pac has the advantage in both of those areas. Pac will stop him in the 11th round. Mark it Down!!!!!!!!!!!!11Comment

I'd say Cotto has a slight edge over the improving Manny Pacquiao in the technique department.
Manny has faster legs then anybody Cotto has seen....but Cotto has faced guys with lighting hands...I would say faster then Manny.
Cotto has show to have the timing to be able to counteract with a speedy fighter....Manny jumps in from long distance...and that can be dangerous to do against a fighter with the good enough timing to counter...as shown by JMM.
Anyway Manny's legs are a piece of the puzzle that makes this fight so intriguing...I know Cotto can deal with hand speed....but will Manny's movement keep him off balance and unable to time him...This is what makes this fight intriguing...If it weren't for Manny's crazy leg movement...I would write this fight off as an easy win...It's just something that Cotto has never been up against...I'm pumped for this fight.Comment

The number of times I've seen people say that when they've just recently joined boxingscene so no one can check up on their record! Then they lose their first boxingscene bet and go rather quiet after that. Always happens. You should get together with Joe Strong - he used to say that he never lost with his predictions, when he first joined boxingscene - but has lost all of his bets on boxingscene so far.

speed is important but it isnt everything too often people assume the faster guy always wins it isnt always so,look at duran vs leonard. or chavez fights,those guys werent the fastest and beat much faster guys , timing and technique can trump and nullify speed. look at both jjm fights vs pac, even though pac knockdown jmm , pac recieved the worst beatings hes had in a long time .all pacs speed didnt keep him from getting handily out connected by jmm.the compubox proves it.in both fights.speed is flashy but timing can destroy speed.judah vs baldomir or judah vs tzyu, or lamotta vs sugar ray robinson2 lamotta gave robinson his 1st loss when robinson was deemed unbeatable. or jmm vs juan diaz. speed can kill but its not a given by any means.ali vs frazier is another one, there are countless examples where the slower fighter has beaten the fast fighter happens far more often than u think.Comment
