If Cotto loses this fight he should retire

He got beat up by margarito and did not retire. If pacman loses i think he'll surely retire more than if cotto loses.

The good thing about this fight for both is that there's a plan B if case of a lost with a good Payday.

Cotto could have Margarito, Cottey and Mosley's rematch not to mention that he can also challenge Berto.

Pacquiao can go back to 140 and fight Marguez III, Campbell, Khan.

All this fights can generate good money for both fighters.

However the winner will have a better chance for that big payday against PBF having Cotto the advantage on landing the fight because of Pacman and PBF's demands for the biggest % of the purse.

it took cotto 5 rounds to beat alfonso gomez, and it took pacquio 2 round to ktfo hatton. and alfonzo gomez is a ****in bum compared to hatton.

I wonder if Pacquiao's fists are harder than Margarito's plaster. Cotto may actually have gained confidence in his punishment taking abilities with Clottey and the cut. Teddy Atlas says he still sees ghosts of Margarito but I hope Cotto realizes it can't any worse than a bigger taller welterweight with a granite chin and construction material in his gloves and gives us a real show. To give Pac some due credit, Cotto is going have to use some leverage and forearm pushing ala Hopkins cause Pac throws from any angle available, he can't let him find his balance or he'll end up in shock like DLH.

Pac camp is making a mistake with the gloves. Cotto has said that he doesnt like to fight with 10 oz gloves. Pac is faster but Cotto is the strongest fighter so if Cotto catch him Pac's chin will be really tested...

manny had a nasty (butt)-cut against morales-1...and had difficulty seeing the punches coming.
i believe cotto's face is more vulnerable to cuts.....
pacman's punches are crispy and sharp....all his last 3 opponents got lumpy and bloody.
i kept saying in many posts that pacman has developed razors in his fists!!

I know I've quoted you on this before I'll do it again. Manny was cut by a headbutt, aside from the Judah fight Cotto's never been cut by a punch. Marg had plaster in his hands, and again in the Clottey fight it was a headbutt that cut him as well.
