pac knew after jmm 1 that jmm could have won and jmm could win if they fight again. he immediately offered jmm rematched but jmm chose to fight chris john in indonesia for peanuts. you call that hand picking?
they were considering jmm 3 when dlh offered to fight him then hatton came.
if you choose between dlh and hatton versus jmm. who would you choose?
every fighter would choose dlh and hatton coz they bring huge money.

pac became #1 not because of his last 2 fights. its the result of his fights since he won over ledwaba. 6 titles in 6 weights. 4 lineal titles.
barrera was highly rated p4p when he was demolished by pac. pac didn't took MABs place after the win. He didn't make it to top 10 until he won over morales. Pac was #2 p4p and some were already arguing he should be #1 over floyd when he won over diaz. he immediately became #1 after floyd retired before even he fought dlh and hatton.

Many people think pac lost both fights to jmm but majority accepted the judges decision. Both were close fights and could have gone either way. Many rounds were too close to call.

how could manny get all these achievements if his opponents are just handpicked???
Former WBC Lightweight world champion, WBC Super Featherweight world champion, IBF Super Bantamweight world champion, and WBC Flyweight world champion. He has also held the Ring Magazine titles for Featherweight, Super Featherweight, and Light Welterweight divisions. first Asian boxer to win five world titles in five different weight divisions. He is currently the IBO and Ring Magazine Light Welterweight champion and is rated by the Ring Magazine as the #1 pound-for-pound boxer in the world. first boxer to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes, and he started it all at 108 lbs!!!
so early on pls prepare your excuses after pac beat cotto as you always do starting from barrera fight: age , cotto had a cut, catchweight, dehydrated, handpicked blah blah blah, trainer problem, overtrained blah blah
