    Diaz at light welterweight

How do you think Juan Diaz will do in the light welterweight division? He's fighting Paul Malignaggi on August 22.

    not great

didnt have enough power in lightweight.... he won with volume and pressure, but those two features wont be as effective against bigger guys...

lol, How are some people sooo petty?

          Is the ".5lbs" really necessary.

Some people in Boxing need a reality check.

yeah i gotta agree with the other guy..Diaz doesnt seem to have championship power...and to move up would hurt him if he doesnt get stronger....and he's not known to bet his body into great shape..so the extra weight might make it even harder for him..

              i don't think it's pettiness.

they just chose the middleground of 135 and 140.

              i think it's either 137.5 or 138.5

              fair to both.

they just want to see if juan diaz can fight at 140. the catchweight is a baby step.
