Faster: Zab Judah or Pacman

Zab's handspeed is ridiculous.

Definitely faster than Pacquiao's.

But the difference is that Zab prefers 1 shot at a time, while Manny flows combos.

Manny is the greater fighter, but Zab is the faster of the two, IMO.

Just wanna know who you guys think has the faster hands and is more elusive from these two guys.

If both were the same age at younger versions, Pacquiao is faster. Because his punches which seems like jabs are actually power punches.

I actually think Pacquiao's handspeed is a bit overblown by his fans.

If you watch him shadowboxing with his fists taped ; his speed is ridiculous. It's truly something to marvel.

But when he gets in the ring on fight night, and he's wearing the gloves ; his punches don't seem to have nearly the same amount of speed behind them.

The Diaz fight was a perfect example ; and that was at 135 where Manny should've been faster than he has been at 140 and 147.

His punches just seemed slow and sloppy.

I know Diaz himself said he was "too fucking fast" for him, but when watching the video ; I can see the punches manny's going to throw before he throws them. He was telegraphing quite a bit in that fight.

This leads me to my final point ; speed is deceptive.

It's impossible to tell from shadowboxing routines and in ring footage just exactly how fast one fighter is when compared to another. Only the person getting hit with the punches truly knows how fast his opponet is.

All we can do is watch the tapes and make our own assessment.

And my assessment is that Zab has the faster hands.
