Maybe the fight should have been a NC. But, nate was looking for a way out. So, in my eyes he got what he deserved!

Nate campbell Flat out Quit Hoping Not To take the Loss Because He Clearly Was In Over His Head Against Bradley! He Was getting Beaten Easily And Decided to Use The Cut As An Excuse to quit And thought It Would be Called a No Contest! He Clearly Stated In his Pre Fight Interview that "he couldnt Afford To Lose this Fight Because it Will Set him Back And No One Wants Fight Him If He doesnt Have A`Strap" He Quit And it Back Fired On Him! Sure it was a Bad Call But He sould Have Found Out if The Ref Had Deamed it a head butt before he quit. I Do Agree It ws A Bad Call but Natre was Gonna Get destryed had he kept fighting and he knew it!

by David P. Greisman - Nate Campbell didn’t like what he saw. There were spots in his left eye. With his right eye, he looked across the ring and saw his opponent, Timothy Bradley, standing on the second of four ropes, arms raised above his head, muscles flexed, celebrating.

The fight had been stopped because Campbell couldn’t see out of his left eye. There was a gaping cut above that eye. Both wounds had been caused by an accidental head butt. Three rounds in, the bout should have resulted in a “No decision.”

Nate Campbell didn’t like what he saw. What he heard next was worse.

The referee had said the cut was caused not by a head butt, but by a punch. The bout would result not in a “No decision,” but in a technical knockout – a win for Bradley, a loss for Campbell.

Campbell rose from his stool, bolting across the ring to argue his case. To no avail.

“This is wrong,” Campbell said.

He was right.

Campbell of late had railed against the politics of boxing, the forces outside of the ring that kept fighters such as him from getting ahead. Inside the squared circle, however, it was just him, his opponent and the referee. He could either take control or have it wrested away from him – though not without a battle. [details]

People saying he's not a warrior and all that mess....Yeah it was looking like he was gonna lose but still...you never know in boxing.I had him losing all the 3 rounds but I also had Bradley wearing himself out trying to ko nate.I dont think that was gonna happen.I think Nate would've came on strong in the end but who knows if it would have been enough.But this is wrong like Nate said..people saying he is not a warrior is unreal..

Ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I said before the fight that Tim would be to strong and overwhelm lil nate. Get tired? Haaaaaa. You just don't know that Tim traines harder than anyone in the game. He never gets tired. Watch any of his fights, he goes hard for 12, thats why noone is gonna beat him. He runs a mile at a sprint for 12 rounds. Noone can hang. He wasnt gona get tired and Nate was def looking for a way out. He knows he can't hang with Tim. Tim even said after the fight he would have no problem going to Nates home town for a rematch. Tim will kill this guy I promise. Done and Done

Just give the guy a rematch he got cut badly by a headbutt and i'm sure if he could have still seen he would have continued fighting.

Since when has Campbell been known as a quitter anyways?

He knows it's too late to be quitting at this age so i think his excuse is legit.

I agree KJ, the thing is, Nate thought he could get out of there with the no-decision and start over. Bradley is a fast mofo and he didn't like the situation he was in. He took a calculated risk and it backfired, but its not over yet.

sometimes the incorrect decision is the right decision. nate used the cut as an easy way out. after the blood was wiped it never bled again and theres no reason why he would not have been able to see after it was wiped unless his blood was made of acid. he sure could see when he was walking all over the ring complaining right after the stoppage. he could see out of both eyes and he could also see that he wouldve been ktfo in the next couple rounds by a far superior opponent. the ref made the right decision by not bailing him out and not taking the win away from bradley. why would anyone want to see a rematch? nate was outskilled,outworked, outpowered, and outsmarted. its like asking for a rematch of pacquiao vs david diaz.

Dude is a straight LIAR! Yeah he got butted! But he looked for a way out and found it. It just didn't go as he planed. If he was serious concerned, he wouldn't have ran out his corner and asked the ref if he was going to rule it a butt. It wasn't emergent enough to be rushed he hung around and cryied about the ruling. You can tell when he was talking he wasn't seeing spots...he would be squinting his eye. And the cut wasn't that bad.

it's not like pac diaz. Pac outclassed diaz, nate was getting outworked. nate has gotten outworked early and come back to wear his opponent down. im not saying nate would beat bradley, but you can't assume anything.
