    Edwin Valero?

25-0 (25) his first 18 fights were all over in the first round!!

he hits hard, but watching this video he looks really wild swinging,
    not really fundamentally sound,

    what do you guys think?

He'll come unstuck against a top level boxer with a sturdy chin and/or good defense

He doesn't impresss me. He got tagged ALOT in the Mosquera fight and was dropped.

Marquez, Pacquiao would definately beat him.

I haven't seen much, but the guy stick his chin way up while lunging with wild punches. He needs a trainer to teach him some good fundamentals and he may end up a Pacquiao type fighter. Right now the top guys would dismantle his reckless style.

I find it funny how Valero came and won the WBC lightweight title...
He's not that good, he hasn't proven anything yet. I don't know how did he
came and fight for a title, where in fact all of his opponents were all low profile fighters.. That's just a thought and that excites me for his next fight.

he's pretty bad at everything except knocking people out, so u can forgive him!
He's not that quick, telegraphs his big punches, leaves himself wide open. But his left hand has some sick power!
With a good trainer who can make him learn and practice a bit of defence, and teach him how to slowly wear an opponent down before he's goes in swinging like a lunatic he could go far.
But i think he loses to any decent top level boxer atm.

Call me crazy but i wanted Khan to fight him. I know, Khans chin and Valeros power could be a bad mix, but I'd expect Khan to box circles around him. If he can keep his concentration for the full 12 rounds he should win. Most people in and around Khans weight class have the power to knock him out, Valero might lack the ability more than the others to connect with the money shot.
I wander what Valero's stamina is like?

Still exciting to watch though, i like fighters who dont care about defence and just try to beat the other guy!

he's got power against nobodies, and he fights with his chin well well exposed, he's ripe for a long sleep
