Why the f@ck is Arum telling everyone where Pacquiao gonna train?! The contract has not even been signed yat by both fighter's right? I think Arum is sabotaging Manny cause he will live him for politics next year and he would like to preserve Cotto as his new cash cow. Thats what i think!Comment

i agree with all of that but given that clottey still landed 50 more punches than cotto shows it should have been a win for clottey thats too many punches to overlook , regardless of the last two rounds, cotto won maybe 4 rnds in that fight and the rounds cotto did win they were better won than clotteys, still thats too many outconnects.Comment

You might have a point there. As much as Arum might make it appear he has a good relationship with his fighters, at the end of the day, he's looking out for Top Rank--I mean, he has good partnership with Pacquiao now--but it could be all smoke and mirrors. If Pacquiao beats Cotto--where is Arum's next big star that has a fanbase? Pacquiao will retire leaving Arum out in the cold.
EDIT: The training camp move is because of tax reasons but Arum shouldn't be the one to control where they train.Last edited by rao007; 08-03-2009, 09:37 AM.Comment

Unfortunately, the Mexican public doesnt even feel strongly about the majority of their fighters. Soccer dominates the sports scene. I'm sure pac will be respected by the people he encounters, but he probably wont receive a whole lot of mainstream media attention, which is a good thing because it will help keep him focused on his training.Comment
