Do you condone when a fighter asks for a fight to be stopped to get a No Contest?

Or should fighters just fight and let the doctors decide whether it should be stopped or not?

Be honest, did Nate Campbell look like a man who couldn't see when asked for the stoppage?

Absolutely not. Doctors are there for a reason,a nd should decide when the fight gets stopped froma cut. If a fighter says he doesn't want to continue, then I see that as quitting, and they deserve to lose.

He didnt have a seeing eye dog, so he musta been able to see. Actually he could see out the one eye I suppose but he mentioned seeing spots, and the Doc supposedly saw blood behind the eye so why risk going blind?

It wasnt like the Rachman fight when he really just wanted to quit.

Nate never said he didn't want to continue. He said he couldn't see, which is what the doctor asked.

            Doctor: Can you see?

Nate: No, I am seeing spots.

If a boxer wants to stop fighting because of an illegal blow, then I'm perfectly fine with it.

I have a great deal of respect for fighters who will brave all sorts of gruesome cuts and swells but I can't hold it against fighters who don't want to or feel they can't

anyway to answer your question, if someone wants the fight stopped but can contiune then no that wrong. if they can't then they can't.....

To be honest, Nate was crying from the opening bell. Bradley had his number and that was it. Nate, I told you guys was old and I told you all that Nate would fold against a soft hitter. Bradley took away Nate's ability to work inside. If you noticed just before the fight, Bradley was working on his inside game with his team. You thought them two guys were hugging or praying? Nope they were going over the fight scenario and how to neutralize Nate up close and personal. Yes the head butt occurred but Nate was never really in the fight and he knew it. Nate always takes those soft hitters lightly for some reason. For some one who was trying to win a world title, he sure did not look like he wanted to be there and he sure wasn't willing to give it a little more by at least going a few more rounds. What ever happen to 'Punchers Chance'? Didn't Nate claim that his power and his ring experience would catapult him to victory? I saw a dog who was basically fighting with his tail between his legs most of the fight.

Nate got old and I called it. Nate is no more.
