i grew increasingly angry while watching this fight....I hope we never ever see Witter in a televised fight......

He's style is pure garbage and very painful to watch, i'm glad it didn't go the distance!!!!

    Good Riddance Witter!!!!!!!

and please don't even think about calling out Khan....just STFU and crawl under a rock!!!

I just hope Alexander's performance isn't forgotten because of the way Witter quit. Alexander looks like a very poised and talented young fighter, and I'm excited to see how he develops. I think even at 22, he's only a few fights away from the top fights at 140.

Didnt see the fight but was half expecting this, Witter is 35 and he's reflexes and stamina arent there anymore, And he would clinch at every oportunity just to get a break, I hope him and Hatton retires now...

Yeah right but I remember the tug of war between these two warriors. Witter wanting to fight hatton and hatton announcing that he won't give witter for disrespecting him or something to that effect. Maybe, it's a good idea for them to fight now, seems like no one is interested anymore, anyway. LOL.

They could come to my local supermarket (Tesco) and i would have them fight for a tenner, Both are less of what they use to be but i doubt anyone in the UK would want to see it even if its free..

The fight lost a lot of steam that was built up 5/6 years ago when Witter was considered too dangerous for Hatton.

A lot of people observed from the Bradley fight that Witter's game had appeared to slow and fall apart. I was hoping the disjointedness of that performance was more attributable to circumstances around his prep and build up to fight-night, but I knew the Alexander fight would be a test of that one way or the other.

Witter's probably done in any meaningful sense. But fuck the hate I've seen, I'm still a fan and I'll continue to support him as long as he boxes.

It's been a hard career, scarcely ever in the right place at the right time. I know you make your own luck in boxing to an extent, but some fighters just seem more blessed than others in how the chips fall for them.
Something just snapped last night I think, a lot of frustration, not just built up in that fight, but over a decade. If he wasn't genuinely injured, he should've kept on fighting - a decision you make out of petulance in a split second of abject frustration like that can be something you regret later on.

Hey, Junior, wherever you are. Watching you fight has meant a lot to me. Thanks for giving me one of my greatest nights following boxing 2 years ago at the Dome, man, and you're still a champ in my eyes, quit or no quit.

                    Gutted, really.

Most of the hate are from the Hatton fans, fans who think he never had the right to call hatton out but if this fans follow boxing back in those days and not in 2007 then they would know that those 2 should have fought when the fight was built up by skysports.
