Which Martial Arts/unorthodox methods Helps Boxing...

First thing first this has nothing to do with mma.

Basicly As a boxing practioner I found out that doing martial arts stretching and flexibility training ( different types of flexibility training) helps Indirectly with my boxing. Same goes with me trying salsa I also learned new patterns when it comes to changing angles.

I find that its an unorthodox way of making my boxing footwork faster and on some level it evolves the individuals style vice versa can be said about martial artist/football players and other athletes taking up boxing to improve there overall abilites and attribute.

So if anyone here exprienced indirect training let me know and I have also heard that ali and roy jones jr had some unorthodox ways to make themselves stand out more. So let me know if you guys know any boxers do any of that type of training or activites that improves boxing

BJJ, that way if a boxer is giving you trouble, you can just break his arm

Well my boxing trainer used to do Karate and he occasionally incorporates a drill or something he learned in Karate, but obviously its relevant to boxing

          Nothing really.

Because everything else tells you to use your entire body, not just fists. Western boxing is the only martial art that restricts you to fists only. From my pov, nothing translates well into boxing. Except boxing.

Ali's way of making himself stand out was being the only heavyweight that faught like a lightweight.

RJJ's way of standing out was using is obviously superior reflexes and natural abilities to dominate the field. When he got old, it was obvious that he didn't use his brain to fight, he just used his natural god given gifts.

Wing Chun would help hand speed and trapping/blocking, but of course you have to adjust concepts to boxing.
