I don't think 145 lbs. is an unfair proposition of a blown up featherweight to fight a welterweight. Catchweight format is used to make sure a big fighter won't have a significant advantage when challenged by a smaller fighter.

It's not the first time that catchweights have been utilized in a championship bout.

But Mosley is not proposing the fight at 145 he’s purposing it at 140 with all of Manny’s advisors/supporters salivating at the mouth to the big edge it would give Manny. Mind you, Mosley would still get considerably less even if it was a 60/40 split due to his lack of following, so then I’ll ask you is this good physically for Mosley as well as make good business sense?

      Peace.

Pacquiao's team won't let Mosley to go down @ 140 lbs., most probably they'll ask Mosley to a catchweight of 145 lbs.

i really wish Pacquiao pulls out from the fight with Cotto.

Both sides are tired of the moaning and bitching about the stipulations of the fight.

If Cotto can afford to fight somebody else, he needs to start looking for another alternative boxer to replace Pacquiao and same thing with Pacquiao.

No offense kid but you or I don’t know that for sure. If they asked Cotto initially to come down to 143 I can only wonder with Mosley’s desperation how they’ll push this for this fight at 140 with Manny’s camp using this as bargaining chip at the negotiation table with Mosley already agreeing publicly to making this at 140.

            Peace.

Son, now you're assuming things again and trying to imagine details that you don't know nothing about. I really can't understand why nuthuggers like you are very concerned about the stipulations of the fight. But for me, I want the fight to get cancelled so this moaning and bitching stops.

              Peace

I wouldn't disagree though that Pac needs to put up more money for Cotto.
Unless Manny drops the catchweight, Cotto doesn't owe him ****.

He's already getting screwed w/ the bull**** 65-35 split.
