    British boxing coverage

How are british fans supposed to watch the ****in boxing!!!! We got itv 4 for the domestic fights which is ok, and then we got amir khan who is on ppv sky box office along with hatton and thats it. Isnt tonights witter fight for a world title? And its not available to watch. What the **** is all that about? I dont mind staying up all night to watch the boxing, but i do mind staying up to get a ****ty stream. Its just not good enough. Surely the tv companies know there is a decent market in the uk for boxing, even when its in the middle of the night. So as it stands, if we want to watch showtime fights and a large majority of the hbo fights, we have to board a plane to america, buy a house, and subscribe to hbo and showtime!!!! Sick of it!!!!! When will sky realise that nobody except boring invalids wants to watch cricket.

If the Witter fight was in England then ITV would have covered it,but because its in the states the cheap asses wont fly over there and broadcast it.
Im surprised sky havent picked it up tbh,I mean what else are sky showing tonight at 2am?
    ****ing fishing lmao
Its disgraceful imo,They put Khan & Haye on PPV yet dont show other potential world champions AT ALL.
With Setantas demise,us Brit boxing fans are up the creek without a paddle now im afraid.

exactly. i think our only hope is that espn will hopefully pick up where setanta left off. they got a few of the SPL and premier league games. but im not pinning many hopes on that.

        Dont bother mate.
According to Buncey,ESPN have as much interest in showing boxing as BBC do.
ITV4 are also going to stop showing boxing soon,so we are well and truly done for.
Everything rests on sky now, they make tons of cash so there really is no excuse why they aint showing more boxing.

cleverly/mcintosh fight got 600,000 viewers with barely any promotion so there is definetly a market out there for the tv companies to reach out to!
