Pac vs Cotto: What Makes It A Fair Fight?

Been reading some posts by fans and haters that by having a catchweight of 145, Cotto will be drain. Pac can make the weight at the welterweight division(not the limit during the official weigh in) but he is not as big as the other ww fighters. He weigh in at 138 during the weigh in and 148 at fight night which also the same against Dela Hoya.

Cotto has only made the ww limit 2x out of hsi 8 fights. The rest were 146-146.5. A member posted a pic of the fight night weight of Cotto against Urkal(HBO tale of the tape). Cotto weigh in at 159. So Cotto can gain 10 pounds or more at fight night.

As you can see, Cotto is the bigger(physical) fighter than Pac, thus giving Cotto the advantage. By dropping 2 pounds at 145, Cotto can make that. Pac is not a true ww fighter. But having a catchweight fight of 145 put things in the middle for both fighters.

145 is fair, but no title should be defended at catchweight. That is not the limit.

You read my opinon on that on my threads/posts. Don't care about the title anymore. But its just the weight to make it a fair fight. Just about the weight on this thread, not about the title.

It should be at 147. That's fair, title or not. Why should Cotto drain himself? Pac can make that weight easily. As Joke Coach Roach said, Floyd is too small for Pac (true Floyd is a small welter). Hence Pac must belong with the big boys at welter. Stop being a ***** Pac.

Good point. 147 is also fair for both fighters.
