Hopkins vs DLH.....was NOT at a CATCHWEIGHT!!

lets get this str8 my dudes......B.Hop came in so low because he wanted to prove that he was BETTER than DLH and NOT bigger!!.....it was a mental thing!.....so whoever started that FALSE rumor or story.....STOP IT!!!......the Pac fans are using that as an avenue to walk down for the Cotto drama.......B.Hop and DLH fought at 160.....but B.Hop came in low for the reason I already stated.....ok?!?......thats it just wanted to clear that up!!

Scroll down to the section regarding Hopkins and De La Hoya. He did come in intentionally low, but it was still at a catchweight.

the fight was a middleweight title fight but they had an agreement in the contract that hopkins would come in lower than 160.

The contracted weight was 158. It was common knowledge at the time.

DLH was even interviewed regarding the catch weight by ESPN after the weigh-in (which was a pretty lively one).
