well when they don't release the purses that probably means he made diddly squat. but the ticket prices were 30 dollars to 250 dollars with most tickets being toward the 30 dollar range. the capacity was about 7000 and i doubt they sold 7000 tickets. but lets be generous and say they sold out and the average ticket is around 100 bucks. 100 times 7000. that's 70k profit for the whole show. is adamek really gonna take 50k of that 70k? i think not. main events is gonna take most of it and leave adamek with 5 bucks.Comment

oh sorry i was calculating wrong but still 700k is not much in live gate. when most fights do over ten times that. so you would think adamek would get at least ten times less with such a low live gate and when you factor in their is no additional tv money.Last edited by daggum; 08-01-2009, 02:37 AM.Comment

So it wasn't televised?
Lol, just read that not only was Hopkins one and only offer only 500K, but the fight was expected to make in the neighborhood of 4.5 million.
