What did he do to get a shot?

His last fight before the world title was against a guy with 7 wins and 37 losses, it just seems wierd how Witter wasnt even fighting for domestic titles and went straight to contender :S

He was a late replacement, took the fight on something like 9 days' notice.

      Wank Warren?

      Or is he under Maloney?

But why Witter? Why not the 1000 other odd boxers?

Maybe thats why hes where he is today then? Because he was a bum and went the distance with an amazing boxer at the time

I think he was the only one willing to take the fight on 9 days notice when Judah's original opponent fell out. I'm not totally sure though.

Actually no, that fight sent Witter's stock down, no one really wanted to see him again after that fight because he put in quite a boring performance.

Nah that made it a lot worse for Witter, if he had done better in that fight he might have gotten Hatton accolades, instead nobody wanted to see him.

Its a shame, In Witters two big fights he was ****ed over big time.

1 Zab Judah- came in at a weeks notice

2 Bradley - just found out dad had cancer
