Yea. One of the most unpopular. Only has millions of Puerto Rican and American fans. Not to mention some from other nations.

Not really. I just think the guy is overrated. I was on the Mayweather one and I voted no for that one too, so hear me out. Cotto is a good fighter. But his hardcore fans on here make him out to be the second coming of Wilfredo Gomez when he is a flawed fighter style wise and he has never beaten a legit champion for their belt. Combine this with the fact that I think he gets preferential treatment from HBO (barring the brief aftermath of the Margarito loss) over fighters who are better than he is and even matched up tougher.

The guy fights someone like Clottey because his fan base is so big it's automatically a big money fight for him. But if Mosley or Williams shook their **** at Clottey, they would only get peanuts for it and Cotto's fans accuse those guys of ducking Clottey. The amount of money a fighter makes isn't a reason I like or dislike him. The main reason is because Cotto gets so much credit for barely beating Clottey and Mosley without entertaining the thought of rematching them and winning convincingly. Last but not least, they think that plaster lead to Cotto's loss to Margarito and absolutely no other factors.

Now I am siding with the Cotto peeps on this catch weight **** that Pacquiao is pulling. But if Cotto is so worried about it, why doesn't he fight someone else and call the fight with Pacquiao off?
