What a good Lad

I have to say how suprised I was when on Saturday night I met Johhny Nelson in a Bar in Manchester. Being the shy retiring type I asked my girlfriend to go over and get his autograph, not only did he oblige but she retured with him in tow.

He shook my hand and we proceeded to have a 15 minute chat about boxing and life, I had heard in the past that he was not the most sociable bloke and had a bit of a chip on his shoulder....not so, he was a really nice guy....the synic in me thought that he may just have taken a ***** to my girlfriend! Lucky this was not the case as I didn't really fancy having to protect her honour!

Bottom line, all boxers aren't arseholes, he was a down to earth nice bloke.

The same can be said of Witter, i've met him a couple of times, once at a show, then just happened to bump into him in the street, totally different to what he is on tv sometimes like when he plays the fool, overall a very nice lad

It's all down to me. I saw Johnny Nelson walking down the street once, giving it the big 'un, so I turned round and knocked him the f*** out. Since then he's been a lot more humble with his public.
