Cotto vs Pacquiao negotiations. Who is to blame?

Freddie Roach should **** off from the negociations, he is just a trainer. Sure he is doing what he thinks is best for Pacquiao, but the assistants that live with pacquiao in that small house or where ever know Pacquiao best. People who tend Pacquiao's corner should not negociate with ****ing contracts

Well this is not rocket science.

They both agreed to a non title 145lbs fight and Manny or/and his team, teh retracted because they want the title!!!!!

you dont know that.... if everything was signed ther should'nt be any bs talk like this.....both parties are to blame...so **** this fight....

mm, I think if Pac went against Mosley, it would have been a 143 fight with Mosley's belt.

If Pacquiao wants that belt he should get his ass to 147, don't listen to the team, nor his trainer, they don't make decisions for him, ONLY HIM.

if he wants his 6th title in 6 weight classes then go up to 147, NO EXCUSES, NO DRAMA.

bob arum forced this fight on manny because he wanted to resign cotto...pacs team was not informed properly....blame it on the bob

Its obvious that Pac had agreed to it

Championship belts will not be on the line in this fight because of the catch weight of 145 pounds, 2 pounds lower than the 147 welterweight limit. However, even without belts on the line, what is more important is that Cotto and I will fight for the No. 1 pound for pound title which guarantees an active fight, no running, no retreating, no chasing around. -Pacquaio

The only one who wants to change the agreed upon parameters is Pac's Team which now want it to be a Title fight but don't wish to make any concessions in return.
