Now I thought I'd make a thread about how big hypocrites American fighters can be. Lets start with the officially recognised KING OF HYPOCRITES: Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins, also known as Bernard "NeverbeentoEurope" and Bernard "The Eurohater" Hopkins.
He had the nerve to smirk when Calzaghe mentioned Kessler's name among the top names he beat. Yet he never even CONSIDERED fighting that same Mikkel Kessler! Why?? Not because he thinks it won't draw enough crowd, he knows it's not true. But mostly because he is afraid Kessler might put him in a coma. Or embarrass him, which is the least that would happen.
Now, don't get insulted Americans, I know you have good fighters. Only a shame none of them are really front page news anymore. It's only a fact that the most coveted fight right now is between a Pinoy and a Puerto Rican.
Now finally, let me tell you what I think of your beloved Bernard B-Hop ****hop Hopkins: he is a zero. A guy who fought smaller guys for over a decade before he won recognition in his true weightclass by beating a drained Antonio Tarver. And somehow, that got recognized as a major accomplishment. As if that wasn't enough, he added another p4p name on his list by butting and clinching Winky Wright into submission.
But thankfully, somebody finally put an end to his misery. And it had to be a European of course, because all American fighters were obviously afraid of him for some reason. But ****hop would not yet give up. After making dramatic or shall we say melodramatic comments claiming he "won" the fight with Calzaghe, he took on a skinny white middleweight who had just recovered from the flu and bling, he was back on every biased American's lips and hailed as the true legend. Only in America indeed!
