Theres article in here, that said so!!!!!!!
Thats after Arum had already made the offer. Pacquiao wanted to scout him 1st before making a decision remember.

Not before Cotto said that he's willing to fight Pacquiao .
I think it was right after the DelaHoya fight.

Oscar wanted to let everyone know he still had it, so he decided to pick on the smaller #1P4P champ and it backfired on him. He gave up his leverage picking on someone 3 weightclasses below him and knew he couldnt make the fight at his own demands, so he met at 1 division less.

This would make the most sense, but to alot of you it was the diabolical Manny who forced ODLH to drop an entire 7lbs while he himself was only at 130 the same year. He moved up 27lbs in one year yet ODLH was somehow weight drained dropping 7lbs???? what do you say alts?

I hate when Cotto fans act shameless cause he's one of my top favorite fighters to watch along with Manny. Oscar wanted the biggest $$$ fight he could get and to challenge the P4P #1. He figure he'd win against the smaller guy so he called Pacquiao out. It was in no way Manny's original intentions to go to 147lbs to fight Oscar. He was 135lbs at the time and planned to just move up to 140lbs and call it a career there. So now you want to complain that when the bigger man came knocking on Pacquiao's door to fight him and require Pacquiao to move up in multiple untested weight class, that Pacquiao says he's gonna go only as high as 147lbs and that's considered bad? You wanted a 135lbs to fight a guy picking on him @ 154lbs? I don't get some of you sometimes. Use common sense you say? Double standard you say? Yup.

You won't find any because it was Oscar who wanted it at 147.

As I went deeper into this thread, it seems Cotto has more ****** fans than Pacquiao, from the responses I've read so far...
