John Murray, 24, still hopes to secure a big domestic showdown with Amir Khan, the popular Manchester-based fighter, and BoxingScene.com regular, has made no bones about his desire to destroy Khan. John recently poured scorn on the tactics Khan used in his performance against Andreas Kotelnik; Murray accused Khan of adopting a boring approach in that fight. [details]

Someone will be getting knocked out. I like how much Khan has improved under Roach, but he is trying too hard not to get hit on that chin, and with Murray's brawling 'i don't give a ****' style, Khan could hit the deck and stay there. I'm sure Amir would try to box a decision, but if he catches Murray enough with good combinations, then there i sno reason why he cannot force a stoppage himself.
I'd love to see the match-up, but Warren would not put him in with John.Comment

I think the way Khan performed against Kotelnik makes the match up with Murray even more interesting. Khan used a good jab and movement but Kotelnik doesn't have the come forward style that Murray has. Murray cuts off the ring well, but could get better, Khan obviously has a weak chin so it would be hard to not get hit flush once for 12 rounds against Murray i also believe Khan might be susceptible to bodyshots which Murray has been using in his last few bouts. The only way Khan can stop Murray is through speed wearing him down.
I wouldn't be suprised if either won the fight.Comment

Its Khan's best win as well hahahaha! Dont start comparing resumes, Khan has absolutely no-body on his that i (or most other sensible posters) count as respectable. Khan is a manufactured hype machine, simple as that.Comment
