Sorry but Clottey beat himself and the reason he beat himself was he had a fighter with a nasty cut(headbutt) and did not push the fight in the late rds. He let a 1eyed fighter go the distance in a fight he should've won. Clottey lost that fight based on rounds he should've pressed forward. Fans need to remove the blinders and realize it happens all the time. Marquez should've won the 2nd fight with Pacquiao but they did not give him the decision, it goes both ways.

Marquez had Pacquiao hurt and did not push forward, we all know cotto always pushes forward when he has an opponent hurt. If Morales can cause that much damage to pacquiao's face imagine what cotto can do since cotto is stronger, faster and better jab than morales. Cotto's only lost was to Margarito and margarito was suspended for CHEATING. People need to wake up and stop being silly. Pacquiao is an ATG and very exciting to watch but if you put him in with middleweights or put miguel with middleweights they both will lose. I also think you put Pacquiao with a very good welterweight who has fought very good welterweights and Pacquiao will also lose. It'll be a good, exciting fight but at the end Cotto's power/Jab will be too much.

Comments like these are what causes fans to not take boxing serious. The TRUE boxing fans and experts KNOW the real Cotto and real Pacquiao. The Cotto, pacquiao, mosley, floyd fans that don't use their head....don't.

Sometimes I wonder if there are 7-8yr olds behind these posts because common sense is not used. Even Roach realizes that Cotto is a very good fighter, so why can't we all. Is Cotto the best welterweight? We won't know until his career is over. If i9 as a cotto fan can respect Pacquiao's talent why can't others respect Cotto's talents. Simple answer: Blindness

I thought about this fight quite a bit,first i thought pac is gonna have an easy night and do to cotto what he did to hatton or dlh.But realisticly seen i dont think he stands a chance against cotto simply because he has never faced an oppenent tough and hard hitting as cotto,if a weight drain dlh could last 8 rnds and a 2nd class fighter like diaz 9 rnds why wouldnt cotto be able to stand there and trade punches with pac for 12 rnds?As much as i like pac i dont think he will be able to handle the punching power of cotto.The boxing "experts" who praise pac now are gonna be his biggest critics after he loses to cotto..doesnt matter how many victories he had all thats gona be forgotten.thats how snakes work.
