BoxingScene is a fine place to talk boxing. I enjoy coming here to shoot the breeze with fellow fans.
Some days I side with the *******s (believe it or not), some days I side with the Floyd Temptations, some days I side with the Klitschko fans, some days I side with the Brits and their precious Carl Froch's, Joe Calslappy's and Ricky Fattons and some days I side with the Boriqua's.
The thing is. Every day is different. It all depends on what **** is being kicked around on what particular day.
For instance.
If the talk is against my precious, beloved baby boy JMM, then I opportunistically gravitate towards the defender of the day. Like say the *******s are suffering from their usual hallucinations about Packy being the GOAT, then the Floyd Ball Garglers swoop in to defend Floyd's honor by saying that Floyd is fighting the guy that beat Packy 2x!!!
Brilliant!!!
On that particular day, I love Floyd Ball Garglers....even though most days I'd be the first to nail them to a cross...
Then we have the *******o's....of course I'm known as Jacky "The Pillar of ******* Pwnage" but there is situations where the *******s are useful.
For instance.
When the talk of Margarito comes up *******s are usually very helpful because for some odd reason they love Margarito. Possibly because of the Manny/Cotto < Margarito triangulation.
So they use their vicious team attacks to defend Tony, probably not because they love him but to embarrass Cotto for quitting against his relentless apocalyptic attack.
So in this particular situation, *******s, against all reason are actually valued allies.
Then we have the Cotto fans.
They generally like to argue w/ Mexicans and Filipinos because Tony is mexican and he owned Cotto and Packy is a Filipino that could potentially own Cotto (Highly Unlikely since Packy is an overrated clown) but I digress....
Cotto fans are very useful to me in defeating the *******s because they air on the side of JMM and cite his destruction of Packy as a reason why the much bigger and stronger Cotto will defeat him.
In this instance, Cotto fans are very useful.
Then we have our Brits. These wankers are useful to me in different ways. They are not a monolithic bunch the way the aforementioned are because some like the Welshman, others the Mancunian and others Carl Froch...where ever the *** he's from.
But in true British divide and conquer fashion, they manage to piss off all of the previously mentioned groups.
Either Froch reminds them of Margarito and they praise Tony +1 from me, or they make excuses as to why Packy landed a lucky punch against Hatton and blame the Taco Bell eating, Kool Aid drinking Floyd Sr. for ruining Ricky; another +1 from me, or they constantly remind smug Hopkins fans that they worship a bonafide racist in Bernard "I would never let a whiteboy beat me" Hopkins. Again, another +1 from me.
When I feel like imposing my Eastern European superiority, I side with the Klitschko fans.
Part of me does it because I truly like them, but the other part does it because I enjoy the xenophobic reaction that they provoke in idiot Americans who can't handle the fact that their precious, ******, uneducated, fat, lazy, and pathetic HW's can't compete.
Its funny watching Americans bring up the "golden age" of HW boxing considering that Russians and Cubans weren't allowed to compete in the pro's.
For all we know Ali and Frazier were big fish in a small pond. True world competition from Russia and Cuba might have proved them to be average, overrated HW's but we will never know.
In this regard, Klitschko fans are also quite useful because they express something worthwhile.
I guess the moral of the story, is that BS is full of characters that are pretty cool on the whole, but that will turn on you in a second when you don't fit into their fudgepacking fanboy view.
My conclusion is that BS is a fine place if you like to hang out with opportunistic hypocrites that only agree with you when it suits them.
