How Would A Fight Have Played Out Between...?

Pac and a "Prime" Hatton? Im asking this because Im watching ESPN Classic as we speak and theyre showing Hatton vs Tackie and man does Hatton look good. Not to long ago I also watched Hatton vs Tsyzu and man did Hatton look good. He looks so much faster and sharper then he was later in his career. People clown Hatton all the time now but we cant act like he was straight garbage. He may have been flawed but he had some serious skills and was a hard guy to beat before he slowed down and started holding all the time.

Question is, do you think that a prime Hatton wouldve done any better against Pac? I mean even if you think Pac still wins, do you think it would be closer? Maybe you think that Hatton wins by UD, Pac wins by UD, Pac wins by 7th round KO, or Pac still destroys him in 2 rounds. What are your thoughts?

Honestly, thats why I think Hatton gets depressed because he really thinks he could beat Floyd & Pac or come very close to them if he fought like he use to but no one beleives it and they just clown him. I think when he watches old film then he gets sad because he knows he's not that same guy anymore

It's hard to say, there are a few factors.

First was that Hatton made weight easier, if you look at pics of him 4 years ago man there is a difference. Its almost SHOCKING how much older and frailer he looks.

Hatton also used to come in at like 139. That's unthinkable nowadays.

I think he used to have more vitality, more pop in his punches and stuff. Also he was hit with many hard shots, from the likes of Tzsyu and he didnt even flinch. Many of those shots are harder than the ones that Lazscano and Pac had him visually hurt with.

I also think he had more confidence, say what you want but he was never the same after PBF fight imo.

I think that Pac wins but its a much better fight, Possibly goes the distance, or Hatton gets TKO'd late, but he wouldnt be asleep on the rockstar and he may get a bit lucky and hit something big on pac, not likely though

So wait a minute, Ricky's shot and over the hill now?

Oh yeah, he just lost to Manny, my bad ; that's always the news when Pacquiao beats somebody's ass.

The Ricky that fought Manny was still world class no doubt, but he wasn't the same fighter he was when he fought Kostya.
