Erik's bro telling him to attack pacquiao...

Erik's younger brother's advice is for him to come forward and attack pacquiao, will this become a good idea? The reason for doing this accdg. to him is because the pacman doesn't know what to do if he's being pushed backwards. I know pacquiao will be the aggressor here right from the 1st bell, but what if morales bring it to pacquiao right away, what could be the ill-effect of this to the pac-man? i don't know the answer so im asking the boxing experts here, anyone?

I think it will be a replay of the first round JMM fight. That's exactly what the Team Pacquiao wants to happen - to entice Erik to brawl toe-to-toe with Pac right at the start because they're confident Pac has the advantage in such a situation (Pac having more speed and power and Erik being a larger target). And if this happens, I too believe that Erik is a goner very early in the game.

This is one of the reason I'm picking Pacquiao. Though Morales have superior skills, his heart scraps his gameplan in the ring in favor of going to war. But that's also what made him popular today. He could outbox Pacquiao for a UD. But I guess that's not the reason why this is the most anticipated fight of the year, yet.

I think his brother is smart and knows pacquiaos biggest weakness shown in the JMM fight was that he couldnt fight going backwards.

Freddy roach saying they expect Morales to not box as soon as he gets hit and that being his downfall could be an attempt to make Morales not rush Pacquiao who would need to have his rear foot set to throw devastating punches back.

I dont know if Morales realizes that as long as he comes forward and is relentless in his attack he would have an easier fight (IMO anyways).

Yeah let them go at each other early on. If this happens one of them will be down soon

its no secret manny isnt really effective when hes going backwards
                watch the jmm-pac fight
freddie keeps tellen him to do nothin but go forward
course we saw in the first round
if u push forward u have to keep it up
jmm was agrresive but then let pac breathe which was when he managed to move forward and drop him 3 times
                so yes
it is good idea to try to make manny back up
but its also a dangerous and tough thing to do

I think Morales would be best served going back and walking Pac into uppercuts.
