You can't give away rounds against Hopkins.
He said it on FNF last week.

Man, that was probably the best FNF I've ever seen.

I liked the Velazquez twins, even though they are not going anywhere with the elite level of the sport.

Escalante is going to do some MAJOR damage at 122 man... no doubt. Everyone is leaving that division and he looks like a cold blooded killer in the ring. He has pretty good skill for a face first brawler too.

Remember the petrified look on Dawson's face at times in the first Johnson match, when things got heated?

Yeah....just imagine what his expression is going to be when Hopkins lands the right down the middle, ties him up in the clinch, and proceeds to rough him up until the referee seperates them.....

Poor Chad might break down into tears and I'm not even joking about that at all ; he hates the rough stuff.

Anyone want to fill me in?

Yeah man, it's going to be too rough for Dawson. He seems more petrified of in fighting than almost anyone I've seen in the sport.

The England thing is more what I was concentrating on. The only people in the world who think that Froch is any good are from England.

I mean, my god, he tries to fight in a technical style, but really, he is slow as ****, and robotic/predictable when he punches. All he has going for him is his chin (I guess, I mean, no power Taylor put him on his ass), and his stamina. Probably won't get it done against most opponents.

              I agree.

Hopkins has got good power at light heavyweight.

Pavlik's got a good chin and Hopkins was able to rock him on several occasions.

Lol, I don't know about all of that.

If he fights Pacquiao after Marquez, I'll be pretty willing to forgive a lot of the things he has done that I didn't like. It seems to be his plan, so, I'm excited for it.

I never saw Pavlik really hurt by the way...

Anyway, in the early stages of Cotto-Clottey, I said that it looked like Cotto was somewhat ruined by Margarito and just didn't have it anymore.

Pacquiao is going to whip his ass, badly.

It makes me laugh when Froch talks about using his "boxing skills" when he has upcoming fights.

He actually does have some boxing skills... I mean, technically, he punches correctly and all that jazz. But someone as stiff and slow as him can't use boxing skills to their advantage, because they are going to be beaten to the punch CONSTANTLY.

He really should be a face first brawler and try to use his power... I think it would work better for him, but that's just me.
