    I truly believe the lower weights should be ERASED...Too many deaths man.

    Maybe its because of grown men weighing a little over 100 pounds.....who knows?

            I wonder if there is any scientific basis for this assertion. Maybe the thread starter can do some research on ring deaths or brain damage to determine if this is in fact the case..

              Good point, I wonder how many of these deaths are from a direct result of boxing?
              Seems most of them are from something unrelated to the sport.
