Diaz will probably win by UD. Diaz will just walk through his punches. If Diaz can trouble Marquez, he most certainly can laugh off the Magic Man's shots. As you said correctly, Diaz doesn't have the power to KO Paulie, Baby Bull's aggression will be the key to this fight.

I didn't see his last fight, but I thought I read somewhere that Paulie didn't look good against Chris Fernandez.

And since Paulie's best days are behind him and he's basically one handed, I'd say he's in for a beating. I think this will go the distance though. Juan doesn't have the power to KO Paulie. The only way I see a stoppage is if it's a TKO. Juan has the ability to swamp Paulie into a stoppage, but he doesn't have the power to actually KO him IMO.

I see Juan Diaz winning a UD.
b +.....r u serious????? Do you know what Juan Diaz has already accomplished in his young career???

He has 2 defeats already and is looking to make his way back into serious contention. Look for Diaz to pressure Paulie all night long and beat him down methodicaly.

Could be a grueling fight for Paulie even if he wins the early rounds.
I really think Paulie just needs to focus on keeping a stiff jab and circling away from Diaz' strong hand. Every once in a while stopping to throw a three punch flurry. Don't even load up too much with the right if it feels tender(can't have it breaking.) A stiff enough jab and you could get another cut developing on Diaz.. Then say hello to the ghosts of his two defeats. Although I don't predict a stoppage at all. Paulie by UD if he doesn't continue looking washed up.

Easier said than done though. Diaz is a relentless fighter and will pursue him all night long. I think it will come down to whether or not Paulie can handle the pressure and if he can keep his composure under all that.

Remember, Diaz has a great jab himself and I think that's something Diaz trainer's will be looking to emplore to counter Paulies speed and boxing advantage.

I hope he can. Pulling for The Magic Man all the way.

Paulie likes to circle and move. Diaz abuses guys who stand in front of him or back straight up. I think if Paulie can swallow some pride and realize he has to fight moving back and circling with a jab he can do this. There were times in the Hatton fight where it looks as though he's forgotten what kind of fighter he is. Lovemore couldn't come anywhere near him when Paulie was moving properly.. Hopefully Paulie brings his A game and at the very least we will have a hard time scoring the fight. I admit this will be close but I don't think this should be considered a forgone conclusion as many already have.

Relax. I'm a huge Juan Diaz fan. Get real though. Being a B+ fighter is not a bad thing.

And by the way, he is a B+ fighter, not that that's bad. Because Marquez is an A and he proved to be a better fighter than Diaz. Enough said.
