Gerald McClellan jr. to turn pro soon

He's 20 years old and will fight at supermiddleweight.

Has only 9 fights as an amateur but is 9-0 in those.

Also younger 19 year old brother Mandela McClellan is a boxer but will stay as an amateur.

Do they have their fathers horrific punching power, and granite chin?

I'd like to see him stay at amateur for another year or so, but if he turns pro as long as he takes it ultra slow (like chavez jr style) then it should be ok too. Just don't rush the kid!

Good luck to him, hopefully he can represent his fathers name well in the ring.

Altough I also believe this we don't have no proof and if he has some of his dad's power h will be at least decent.

I agree,''Little G-Man;; shoul;d stay in the ams more but it's his decision.

If anyone wants to see him he has a youtube account,te dude is kinda ****y and already thinks he's a star.

Otherwise his brother Mandeal seems to have more brains.

im just saying it's been a trend of famous fighters dad becoming...well....bad

then again g-man had his carrer ended soon so his kid might not be so bad.

Physically he looks good and looks a lot like his father altough a bit shorter and somewhat thicker.

Donnie Penelton is training him and he worked ith his dad.

I hope he does good. With the money they could make life easier for them and G-Mna senior.
Problem is I saw his videos on his youtube channel and he is very ****y.Like dad.Only he had reasons.
I believe his youngr brother will be at least more disciplined altough Gerald jr. has the name.

Is it weird to anyone else that Gerald McClellan's sons, after what they've seen boxing can do to a man first hand, would choose to go into boxing themselves?

I know some people are natural fighters and it's in their blood, but this... very unexpected.
