Boxing is a sport with tactics and that, not all fights have to be toe to toe wars... also you should realize that Floyd was the one applying the pressure before the low blow.

Watch his fights at 130-140 and you will realize he used to trade a bit more back then because he was facing guys his own size as apposed to facing guys bigger than him.

you need to watch more floyd mayweather fights...when Mayweather was a jww, lightweight and super feather he took more risks, stayed in the pocket more and in the center of the ring. It really was amazing to watch. I've never seen a more skilled fighter then Floyd Mayweather jr. I just wish he would fight like he used to.
