I think any fighter's stans bring down their rep inadvertently. They don't even fuckin realise it most of the time. The worst being that of the Klitschkos, Pac, Cotto, Margs and Mayweather (Hopkins and Jones Jr. fans I've found to be surprisingly cool folks). Whether it's irrational hatred for their opponents, or just outright nadgerlicking and not acknowledging any faults their boy may have... Well, it's enough to make some of the more sane people think twice about supporting a guy. Or just puke.

But then, I support fighters based on what they do in the ring and how they promote themselves. I don't care if I'm a fighter's only fan, one of thousands, or one of millions - I don't travel with hype. If a favourite of mine does something dumb in the ring, consistently or even just the once, I'll damn well **** on them for it. But I won't turn my back on them. The idea is to pick out both positives and negatives, and only then discuss how they can rule the world.

Like I mentioned before, it seems as though only the resident Hopkins and Jones fans would not take a bait thread seriously. They're good guys. Pacotto stans, in general, are just mindless ******s.
