You can bet Rahman will have his son turning pro in the next year or 2.good to see him managing as well as boxing.he's in the twilight of his solid career but may still have one or 2 decent fights left.I watched an interview with him & he admitted not always being commited to being the best he could be & he said once he beat lewis he got complacent & thought success would continue to follow him.he did win the title again but really he peaked vs lewis.his kid & anyone he manages will have an excellent mentor on being a true pro in & out of the ring.his son & guys he manages won't make the mistakes he did...although when you start getting 7 digit paychecks it must be very hard to stay focused.ask Rahman, gatti, hatton, they know what I mean!

I was in Philly a couple weeks ago and Joey (who I had just met the same day) brought me, Ross Enamaite (www.rosstraining.com) and Matt Godfrey (Matt and Joey are friends) to the apartment where Rocky Balboa lived in the first ROCKY movie...he said he was signing with Rock and Steve, guess he was telling the truth....Last edited by ICEMAN JOHN SCULLY; 07-30-2009, 01:59 PM.

That is definitely Joey...I have never seen him box BUT I do know people who have seen him spar top heavies including Rahman and they say he is REALLY crafty in there...he has also won some major amateur tournaments...his amateur resume' tells me he has a lot going for him...plus, Rock and Steve dont sign just anyone....

Is this some ploy by Rahman Sr to make sure Jr has an easier time on the amateur circuit? Or will Rahman Jr be turning pro soon too?

I think the photo just caught him in the middle of a crazy look or something...that happens to everyone at some point, right? I've thrown away a ton of pics over the years that I think were ...less than flattering to myself LOL...
