When you watch cotto's fights closely, you come to realize that he is pretty fast with those punches. I know pacman is faster but look at the big welterweights cotto is fighting. Cotto does not throw wild as some, he measures his punches and has good aim. Reminds me of the 80's welterweights. Gotta give pacman props if he can handle cotto for 8-10 rds. Remember pac? Cotto throws back....WITH POWER.

I'm playing devils advocate here. I agree that was a cool as **** video but Cotto hasn't fought that way since the Margarito fight. I know he has had only two but if you wactched the Clottey fight, there is something missing. You can see it in his eyes. IMO margarito's cheating ways have taken their toll on Miguels confidence. He is lacking that killer instinct. If he fought Clottey instead of Margarito last july, I feel he would have finished Clottey. It's a shame a cheater can have his kind of effect on a potentially great fighter and even better person. Just sad man.

What I'm most impressed about is his underrated defense and his offbeat timing. He doesn't feint, but there is a beat he takes to take you off your own rythm and then launches a pretty fast and effective combo. That uppercut is deadly.

I'll be rooting for my boy Manny but Cotto will be a tough nut to crack. Better bring some "haloblaks" from home. Go Manny!

This is true and the Jennings fight didn't do him any favours. The Clottey fight wasn't pretty and I really think that had Clottey fought like he needed to win in the 12th, Cotto's career would have been downhill from there. Pac is a handful after the Clottey fight but I think it was a wake-up call for Cotto.

He won't take Pac lightly and will probably come in, in the best shape he has ever been. Plus a 10 pound advantage on fight night could signal trouble for my boy Manny. How do you hurt someone with this build who has knockout punching power to boot? I hope Roach devises the perfect gameplan for Pac.
