    If these kind of threads keeps on popping out, I'll do the same **** too!!!
    Listen, I am a huge Cotto fan but I'm even a bigger fan of boxing. I love Pacman. I always root for him in his fights but in my opinion, "Freddie 'The Joke Coach' Roach," has finally gotten Pacman into some real ****.

    Yes, Pacman is a fast, slick and hard puncher but Cotto is also a good boxer and heavier puncher. He probably the strongest puncher he's ever faced. Keep in mind that Pac had a hard time dealing with Juan Manuel Marquez' power and pressure. Watch the video tapes and Pac's face saids it all. He was busted up in all three of their fights. Is Marquez a stronger fighter than Cotto? NOOO...

    This is gonna be a great fight but I think that Cotto will eventually wear Pac out and TKO him... Pac has had a nice run but it's time Cotto put's him to rest YOU'LL SEE!!!

      SERIOUSLY!

      That's not fair... I love Pacman but if he wants to fight for Cotto's welterweight title then the fight should take place at the welterweight limit of 147. Who gave Pacman the right to change the rulez? And don't say he earn the right

      Let's assume Pac beats Cotto, did he really beat the welterweight champion or did he beat a "handicap" champion at a "catch weight"?

      Hands down, this fight should take place at 147

      BTW==>> LET'S GO COTTO

      sigh,

      147 is not a division. its the maximum weight of a division which is welterweight which means 141-147. No rules are being broken here.

      pernell whitaker vs cesar chavez 145 lbs for the welterweight crown

      ray leonard vs lalonde for the lightheavyweight & supermiddleweight championship under 175 & 168 (165 i think)

      ray leonard vs tommy hearns 2 for the supermiddleweight crown under 168 (catch weight of 163 i think)

      terry norris vs meldrick taylor for the junior middleweight crown under 154 (catch weight of 150)

      oscar vs hopkins for the middleweight championship under 160 (between 160-155)

      no rules being broken & no history being made.

      catchweights is a small price to pay to see to fighters in different divisions get it on.
