Someone should slap the controller out of your hands and take your FN4 away.
Premier european fighters with head movement that come to my mind
Calzaghe
Mormeck
Haye
Eubank
Benn
Hatton
Witter
And I could go on, if I cared any more....Comment

ye its trueyeah that's true.
I don't know why but all regions and even ethnicities have their own style of fighting (generally speaking of course).
European
Mexican
African American
Cuban
etc.
It's just difference in training, culture (think how important Pride is to Mexicans which explains their style of fighting), etc.
south americans are known for their heart
american fighters for their speed and skills
europeans for their timing and technical skills
its all very general and even though styles make fights a boxers nationality has very little influence in determining the winner of any given fight imoComment

Obviously there are exceptions. But we are generally speaking.
I can name numerous Mexican fighters that lack heart, but again generally speaking mexican fighters are known for their great heart & courage.Comment

Eh, if only JuyJuy was here. He could give you, kids, a 5 page lecture with a complete list of euopean fighters who employed different styles of upperbody defense with a shord description of each.
I am way too lazy for that.Comment

I'm sure he would do just that.
But would you agree that there is somewhat of a "european style" versus a "mexican style" of fighting, etc. ?Comment

thats howcome i coined the phrase "euroslugs".think about what i said befor you guys hate, and you'll realise what im saying.
i first noticed it when i saw Bradley fight witter, and witter was open to rights cuz he had no head movement,
then i begain to look into it, hatton has 0 head movement.
witter stands to upright.
wlad has no headmovement and stands upright, but he can pull it off becaz he's like 6'8 or somethin.
and i noticed it in the european that chambers fought.
for all the guys that train boxing in europe, do they teach this style?Comment

I agree with you on this altho the first exception that springs to mind for me is Haye. The Eastern European fighters in particular always look very upright and stiff. For me personally in both the boxing clubs I've been to barely taught us any head movement which really pissed me off as I see it as an essential part of boxing particularly if you're going to be a counter puncher. Every region has their own style mind each with their own individual flawsComment
