I want your Welter Weight Belt, but you can't come into the fight at the welter weight limit! If you do, you will be fined

Here we have a man, that is being compared to Henry Armstrong.

    But...

Back in those days, there were no JUNIOR weights. It was straight up.

Not only does Manny have the convenience of the JUNIOR weights, he is also abusing the catch weight negotiations.

    Manny is no Henry Armstrong.

    Nice try though.

I am a reasonable man but I refuse to be hoodwinked or dumb downed. I already get a dose of that from CNN, FOX and MSNBC.

There were no such things as catchweights. It was a same say weigh in rule and Armstrong was fighting Welters weighing as a Lightweight

No one has faith in Cotto. Hopkins fans and Whitaker fans had no problem with a catchweight, why don't Cotto fans? Also those two were linear champs, Cotto is a paper champ.

Anything from 141- 147 is a welterweight fight imo so Manny wanting the fight to be a title fight isn't such a bad thing.

IMO in this fight, I can't pick a winner. Not at all, I'm not placing a bet I have no clue who'll win.
